"Capitan, we have an incoming transmission. Coordinates." The Comsys Officer said.
"What are these coordinates?" Anne asked.
"My intelligence section informs me you are after the pirate Jack Rackham. This is the last known location of the pirate scum." The Admiral replied.
"Why are you giving this to me?"
"As I said...payment...for your loss." Ta'kan answered.
Before the sound of his last word died the Thorian battleship opened fire on the pirate cruiser. The sound of the screams could be heard for just an instant through the open Comsys channel.
Anne screamed her command, "Hard to starboard." She maintained her starched stance.
"How dare you destroy my prize Admiral." She muttered at him between clenched teeth.
